48 Inch Roof Rack Pads, Extrema Size

The Extrema Size is for extra large (oversized) crossbars that are used on Hummers and many aftermarket racks. Split padding for rack bars, with Velcro closures and bungee ties. Protects kayaks, surf skis and surfboards from hard bars and prevents slippage. The 48-inch length will cover most cross bars completely and fit tandem kayaks. Split construction will fit over and around rack towers. Made of fade-proof, rugged fabric that will not tear, rot or sun damage. These pads fit bars 2.9 inches wide by 1.125 inches thick. Other lengths are available, some by special order. Sold as pairs.
