Use this product as an emergency hatch cover for 8 inch O.D. round rims. Carry as a spare in your safety kit to fit round rims such as the VCP day hatch. Fits Valley, Kajak Sport 20cm, Wilderness Systems (Cape Lookout too) and other round rims approximately 8 inches in diameter. Will Not fit 10 inch diameter hatch rim. (Click here for a 10 inch option.) Cover will be labeled Valley 8 in. Round Front. Constructed with grippy rubber on the inside, neoprene fabric face on the outside. Recommended by sea kayak instructor coaches as safety gear. When used as an emergency hatch cover it is best to finish your trip asap and Replace with the proper rubber hatch cover.
