Basic Foam Block Kayak Carrier Kit

This basic kayak carrier kit includes everything you need to transport a kayak on top of any auto roof. Best used with a luggage rack or sport rack. Foam blocks will cushion a kayak in place, and will fit to round, square or factory oval cross rails, they also have no skid surface for use on a bare roof. The two 12 inch blocks are not ideal to go directly on a roof top as concentrated weight of kayak may dent roof top. Best placement is as far forward and far back as possible on roof. For transport directly onto a roof top the similar Deluxe Kit with 18 inch blocks is suggested. Foam blocks have a universal fit V-shaped cutout that carries the kayak deck up and works with all types of hulls. Block Dimensions: 4 x 4.75 x 12 inches made of EVA closed cell foam. Deluxe Version MPG152 is discontinued.

Kit Contents: Two universal fit 12 inch non-skid foam blocks. One 15’ Over-hull Strap. Bow and Stern S-hook tie downs secure kayak to front and rear of vehicle. Carrying case stores complete kit when not in use. Instructions included.
