Necky Hip Pad Shim Set

New Old Stock. Make hip pads fit more snugly. Ideal for smaller paddlers or those with narrow hips. These are presumably original Necky brand hip pad shims for Necky touring kayaks circa 2004. (See photo on left for discontinued pads.) Hip pads are secured to the seat frame. To use these remove the existing hip pads, place shim, or shims, under the pads and secure with screws (more shims = tighter fit). See small photo, to right, to view classic Necky Hip Pads, that are now discontinued. These shims could be used as new installed hip pads with some self adhesive close cell foam on top. Shims are 7 inches long by 4 inches at widest. Mounting hardware is not included. Shims are firm foam-like material, almost 1/4 inch thick.
