Original Bug Shirt

The Elite Edition Bug Shirt (Now with Free Bug Gloves!) is the most versatile and popular high performance bug proof clothing available. The no-see-um face mesh provides excellent visibility while it protects against even the tiniest no-see-ums and sand fleas. The no-see-um mesh vent panels in the sleeves and sides allow cooling breezes in but keep biting insects out. The zippered hood can be easily thrown back, and fits over a hat, cap or hard hat. A drawstring at the waist provides a positive seal at the bottom. The ribbed cuffs and elastic cord adjusters at the wrist keep blackflies, no-see-ums and ticks out, but keeps blood flowing to your hands.

Made of quick dry 100% polyester breathable microfiber. Lightweight and cool but very densely woven so that mosquitoes can’t get their needles through it.

The face zipper has two sliders on it so you can open it just a tiny bit (to look clearly through binoculars, take photos or eat) without letting the biting insects get to you. The zipper has two sliders, you choose where the opening will be top center (great for binoculars) or on one side so you can sneak a snack into your mouth before the bugs notice! An adjusting cord is on the back of the hood so you can effectively pull the hood back off your face if it falls too far forward.

The entire shirt folds into its own zippered pocket, and travels easily on a belt clip. An additional patch pocket with a Velcro closing flap is on the front of the shirt.
