Wrap-Around Rudder Bracket

Long Pin. Made for the Walden brand Vista Expedition kayak. Best used to add a rudder to the Walden Vista. May work on other Walden models and maybe other brands. The Wrap-Around Rudder Bracket is a Long Pin style metal rudder bracket. This gudgeon will mount onto a stern end that is a bit more than 1 inch or so thick and fairly plumb. The sides of this gudgeon wrap around the stern. Mounts with 2 through bolts, side to side, or four screws from the side.

4 mounting screw holes are located on the sides, 2.75 inches on center. Your rudder pin should be at least 3 inches long with 1/4 inch exposed for the rudder pin ring.
