Best used as a replacement part for older Wilderness Systems, circa 1990s. Over all height is 3 7/16 inches, pin is 1 15/16 inches. Pin Length, from bottom of block to rudder pin hole is 1 5/8 inches. The depth of the rudder bracket should not exceed this measurement. A single hole is drilled (for a rudder pin ring) on the end of the 3/8 in. diameter pin. Three 3/16 in. holes, for Hex Bolts and Lock Nuts, and several slots are machined into the black plastic block. Block is approximately 2 3/8 long by 1 1/4 high by 3/4 inches thick, not including removable disc dimension. (Same as part number 7715-0204.)
Important Note: If your kayak is outfitted with the Classic Wilderness Systems Rudder Gudgeon you will have to re-use or source a bit of plastic tubing that acts as liner for pin to rotate in.
Please note that you will have to disassemble your rudder and reassemble it without instructions, but it is fairly simple to do. This part does not fit modern Wilderness Systems kayak models. RBAP
