WS Phase 2 Padded Seat Cover, Extra Small

Best used as a replacement Phase2 seat cover for some Wilderness Systems kayaks, such as small and-or narrow touring kayaks, such as the, Artic Hawk, Piccolo and Epic, that may have been outfitted with the older XS version seat common on kayaks made in the 1990s.

Strip off the old cover and replace with a new cover! Apply this new padded fabric cover to the underlying black plastic seat assembly. Re-use your old side straps or replace with new (included). It is imperative that your seat structure is fully functional for this to new cover to work properly. Inspect the seat assembly and look for cracks in the body, cracks in the back, missing parts, as well as damage to the hinge that joins the back to the bottom. The discontinued P-2 Hinge Set can be fabricated with simple materials, washers and rivets. If there is a problem with the seat assembly contact us for options.

This seat cover comes with a new adjustment straps, Velcro and optional push rivets. Wilderness Systems seats may have utilized Velcro or push rivets (easy to do). Adjustment straps might have to be trimmed and screw holes melted (easy to do with scissors, heat strap ends with a flame, use hot awl for screw holes). Made of Sun Proof Sunbrella Fabric and High Quality Foam by MCB Designs (much better than the original). Color is black. Made in USA.

This seat cover is made to the same specifications of the Extra Small Version The Seat is approximately 13.5 inches wide by 19 inches in total length when laid out flat.

The Extra Small size is unlikely to have a tag on the back of your original cover. This will fit seats with or without a cup holder.
